Membership Details
  • Memberships are only available for purchase at the Gillette Gun Club. Visit us in person to join.
  • Membership covers immediate family only, spouse, dependents/legal guardian, under 18 years of age.
  • Grandparents who are members may bring grandchildren under 18 years of age.
  • Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have either a parent/guardian or gun club member that is at least 21 years old with them.

Range Rules

The 4 Universal Rules of Firearm Safety
  • 01.ALWAYS treat all guns as if they are loaded.
  • 02.ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in the safest possible direction.
  • 03.ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
  • 04.Know your target, its surroundings and beyond.
Firearm Handling & Range Access
  • 05.Know how to properly operate your gun.
  • 06.DO NOT load firearms anywhere but on the firing line you are using.
  • 07.It is your responsibility to know and understand how to operate your firearm safely. If you need assistance, please ask for it.
  • 08.Eye and ear protection is mandatory for anyone entering the range.
  • 09.Always keep the firearm action open, magazines removed and pointed in a safe direction on the bench or in a gun rack for trap shooters.
  • 10.Anyone under 18 years of age is required to have a parent or guardian at least 21 years old present.
Range Conduct & Safety Officers
  • 11.Shotguns are NOT allowed in the pistol/rifle range.
  • 12.A Range Officer reserves the right to remove anyone from the range who is demonstrating unsafe or unacceptable behavior.
  • 13.If you observe any unsafe conditions, report them to a Range Safety Officer immediately.
  • 14.All shooting must be conducted in a safe, controlled and accurate manner; dual wielding or two-gun shooting is not permitted.
  • 17.EVERYONE on the range is a Range Safety Officer. If you see something unsafe, call a Cease Fire.
  • 18.If you are not sure of something, ask a Range Officer IMMEDIATELY.
Prohibited Items & Equipment Restrictions
  • 15.NO slugs, fully automatics, .50 BMGs, exploding targets, ground targets, or metal targets. NO bump stock shooting. Shoot only at paper or approved targets; do not use pop bottles, cans, milk jugs, or similar items as targets.
  • 20.NO slugs on the pattern board.
  • 21.NO broadheads on archery targets.
Cease Fire & Facility Care
  • 16.Upon the command CEASE FIRE, stop all shooting immediately, unload and clear your firearm, put it down, and back away from the firing line. Do not pick up any firearm until a Range Safety Officer gives the all clear, range hot signal. Commands issued by Range Officers and Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately and without question.
  • 19.Police your own brass.
  • 22.There are garbage receptacles located throughout the facility; clean up after yourself.
Alcohol & Drugs
  • 23.Never consume alcohol or take drugs before or while shooting.
  • 24.Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted on the premises. Anyone caught drinking will be banned from the club.
Important Notice

All shooters must sign a liability waiver and follow all range rules. Failure to comply may result in loss of membership privileges and removal from the premises.
